All sizes of this floating fountain pump are designed to operate 24 hours a day, with no maintenance required. They work in salt and fresh water. Each unit is provided with electric cable that is at minimum 12 gauge submersible and is available in varying lengths. Two nylon ropes and two 25 pound weights or concrete blocks are required for mooring and anchoring that have not been included in this package.

Refer to this chart to determine the proper cable size and length for your particular pump. The maximum lengths listed are from the pump motor to the circuit breaker, not to the plug in. Improper wire size can cause unsafe operating conditions and damage the pump. DO NOT use an extension cord to supply power to the motor as this will put strain on and shorten the life of the pump motor.
